Welcome to "The Beating The Odds Tour" web site. We are a dedicated group of African American authors, motivational speakers, and life educators who are committing our lives to empowering and uplifting our commnunity. Through our unique experiences, we all have faced many of the challenges that face our young people today, so we're using those experiences and challenges to educate and enlighten them. We promote making positive choices, leadership, and developing a plan for one's life.

Our Mission

Through a series of quality presentations, workshops and/or conferences which motivate and challenge young people, both academically and socially, the tour's mission is to provide the hope of realizing one's individual dreams, a desire for learning and living, and a sense of gratitude and respect for oneself, one's community as well as one's future.

We're dedicated to showing young people that there's more to life then, gangs, thuglife, drugs, crime, prison or violence.

We encourage positive decision making, non-violent conflict resolution, and the importance of education.
